Overview

Your adventure into the professional levels of recreational scuba diving begins with the PADI Divemaster program. During this program you will learn dive leadership skills through the classroom, pool and ocean sessions. All the training exercises will stretch your abilities to organize and solve problems as well as assist others to improve their scuba skills.

A series of practical training and water stamina exercises will help you put these new found skills to work in both simulated and actual internship evironments.

Once the course is completed you will be authorized to:

• Supervise training and non-training activities by planning, organizing, and directing dives
• Assist Instructors during training sessions
• Conduct Skin Diving and Snorkeling progrmas
• Conduct Discover Local Diving tour dives
• Conduct Scuba Review and Refresher programs
• Work on Dive boats as a Divemaster and safety diver
• ...and more.

Pre-requisites:

• PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification
• PADI Rescue Diver certification
• Current 1st Aid & CPR certification (within 24 months)
• A minimum of 20 logged Open Water Dives
• Be fit for diving and have a completed Medical Statement signed by a Physician

Equipment:

You are not required to have your own equipment to particpate other than your own personal gear (mask, snorkel, fins, gloves, boots), however...you must come prepared to each pool and ocean session with a full set of fully functional scuba gear and wet or dry suit. (BCD, Regulator with Alternate Air source, Computer or Depth guage, SPG, weight system, tanks).
