Escape to Cocos Island, one of the world’s most iconic big-animal dive destinations. Located 342 miles off Costa Rica’s Pacific coast, this lush, uninhabited island is surrounded by dramatic pinnacles and seamounts that attract extraordinary marine life. Divers can expect massive schools of hammerhead sharks, countless white-tip reef sharks, manta rays, tuna, and the possibility of whale shark encounters. These nutrient-rich waters deliver high-energy dives, thrilling pelagic action, and unforgettable underwater scenery unlike anywhere else on earth.

Water temperatures range from 72–82°F. This itinerary focuses on daytime diving only, as no night dives are offered. Nitrox is available for certified divers.
